Havok could shot the energy from his skin, he used the hands to direct it, the costume lets him direct it easier with the chest.Echo136 said:Hang on, I thought Havok shot lasers out of his arms, not chest.
At the end of the trailer, you do see him shooting a blast from his hand. I'm assuming that while he's learning to control it, he channels his power through that chestpiece instead.Echo136 said:Hang on, I thought Havok shot lasers out of his arms, not chest.
Because this one is set in the sixties and is meant as a prequel to the other X-Men movies.skyline4388 said:Last I checked, First Class referred to the original team of Cyclops, Marvel Girl (Jean Grey), Ice Man, Beast, and Angel.
Why do you do this to us Fox? WHY?!
No, the trailer suggests that it happened as in the comics. McCoy devised what he thought was a cure, but it only pushed his mutation further.Patrick_and_the_ricks said:And Beast is a Wer-Wolf? Christ...
I did not know that, but I have only lightly read X-men comics.Ericb said:No, the trailer suggests that it happened as in the comics. McCoy devised what he thought was a cure, but it only pushed his mutation further.Patrick_and_the_ricks said:And Beast is a Wer-Wolf? Christ...
Realistically it would do better as a TV serial, but that would be expensive, so that's why they do it as movies instead.Wolcik said:So the line up is all changed, and chronology is all mixed up - but that could be a good thing, right? Not just watching adventures of X-mens you know from comics, but an alternative version of them... I know that sounds riddiculous, but I think it might not suck if someone doesn't hold too much onto established marvel universe.
Banshee is awesome in this one! He was such a tragic character - losing his powers and such, and later his faith was passed on to his daughter that had to be Deadpool's crush XD
It would work better as a TV Serial
The problem will ALL previous X-men movies from this timeline is that they aren't about many characters at all - they were about Wolverine.vxicepickxv said:Realistically it would do better as a TV serial, but that would be expensive, so that's why they do it as movies instead.Wolcik said:So the line up is all changed, and chronology is all mixed up - but that could be a good thing, right? The X-Men suffer from too many good characters syndrome. There are too many good X-Men to actually make a movie about all of them.
