XBL Ads?

Just read this on kotaku. Anyone got any opinions?

If the consumer gets nothing for this im sure there will be a lot of angry people. I know I wont bother wasting my bandwidth downloading ads, ill just unplug my 360 from the network when not using the XBL service.

Boo! What is wrong with microsoft, don't they have enough money? I don't use live often but a macdonalds add appearing every time you sign in would get really annoying.

They already have some ads but this would just make everything even worse. Actually I can't even connect to XBL anymore because of my crappy internet.
