Xbox 360 Controller driver for the PS3?

Straight sort of question. In this respect, a way to use a 360 controller in a PS3 for games. No interest in hacking or cheating, I just wanted to see if this has been done or tried and if so if I can get with it since I like the 360 controller better.

I did a quick Google. Apparently you can buy a custom made controller for roughly the cost of the system. Otherwise I'm pretty sure design copyrights prevent commercial equivalents from making it to market.

I'm pretty sure that you can get a custom controller for the PS3 in the shape of a 360. But directly using a 360 controller for the PS3 probably won't happen without hacking.

There's supposed to be this thing you can buy that you just plug into the USB port and then plug the 360 controller into the device and it allows you to play with it. I heard about it a while ago on Youtube but the guys account was shutdown so I can't go back and check.

I'm not sure this is exactly what that video talked about but it's only $50 and apparently it works, maybe. I don't fucking know.

Hmm...$50 isn't bad. Probably high priced because of the low demand. Worth a look at least, might get one of these instead of buying another PS3 controller when I need it.

Why the love for the 360 controller?

To me the PS3 sticks feel too loose and my thumbs keep slipping off because they use round heads instead of indented ones. Plus I like the triggers on the 360.

actually it can i am sorry i dont remember but once i see a usb adapter which you connect it to any console ps3 or xbox 360 and it actually worked it was something like cronus device

I don't think you can get a 360 controller to work, but I'm pretty sure you can find a 3rd party PS3 controller that looks exactly like a 360 controller.
