Does anyone know what kind of tool you use to take the standard wireless controller apart? The screws in the controller look like they fit with a certain kind of screwdriver, but it doesn't quite work, so I was wondering if maybe there was some kind of specialized tool to use?

I assume the screws on yours are a hexagon shape, therefore you'd need a really small Allen wrench. You can pick it up at any home improvement place

Yeah, you're going to need a small allen wrench. At least, that's what the screws on my controller have heads for.

I used a finger nail once to take out one of the screws. It was loose though.

And make sure you get the hidden screw behind one of the stickers underneath. My dad and I took one apart to clean it out and if you miss it, you'll end up scratching your head as to why the bloody thing won't come apart.

I forgot where it was exactly, I think if you flipped it over it's toward the bottom with a recessed area covered by some sticker.

thanks a million, I knew it had to be something with a hole in it, but I had no idea what it would be.

Ya, that's it. Same tool to open up the xbox.
