Xbox 360 dashboard update changed its backwards compatability!!!!!

Then again what can I say, I still play my PS2 so I don't have to deal with things like that. That's why I have rage against automatic updates, they usually install things I don't need or want.

Edit: Even though it says Sony, it can be applies to any company.

Sorry, but Microsoft wants you to pay 1600 points (or $20) to download the game to your hard drive instead of being able to use the disk.

Yeah it sucks, but we kind of have to suck it up and take it. Or else just go get a different console instead.

I added an edit to my original post that also states that the game could just be broken.

Although it isn't unlike companies to remove features from their consoles through updates (I'm looking at you Sony and Nintendo).

Micro$oft will never get it's act together. I have an Xbox PleaseFixMe and it's one of the worst pieces of junk I've ever seen! It breaks too much, eats your discs, noisy as hell... the list goes on. My ShitBox recently broke and I'm going to get a PS3 soon. I'd advise you to do the same.

Seriously, I love my Xbox 360 to death, but god damn it, it's the most unreliable piece of shit hardware I've ever bought. My xbox 360 elite died on me twice, once because of a red ring, and once because the graphics card overheated, and yesterday the power supply for it died.

My friends' xboxs have been pretty much the same way, and one of my friends has had 4 different copies of Halo 3 completely destroyed by his xbox.

If you don't think that the xbox 360's hardware is shitty, then you're just a fanboy who refuses to admit that his favorite system isn't the second coming of Christ.

On the other hand, I have never had a single problem with my PS3.

I say it's trolling because he called his xbox a "shitbox" which is just asking for fanboy rage.

If my xbox is as bad as his I'd refer to it as a shitbox as well. Hell I call my old 360 a piece of crap on a regular basis. On account of it eating my Mass Effect disk.

OT: And for a second I thought they made more games backwards compatible. I was hoping I'd finally be able to play Timesplitters on it. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up...
