Xbox 360 for $150

My friend offered me an Xbox 360 S 4 GB for 150$, but since it's a 4 GB I would need to get a hard drive for 120$, and then it's only 30$ less than a full Xbox. I heard the loading times on the Xbox or horrible because it uses old discs.

But I could just get in anyway and then I would have the ability to play Halo. That's about all the Xbox exclusives there are, right? Is it worth 150$ plus game costs to play Halo? There's Mass Effect, but I played it on PC, and I've heard the experience is no different on Xbox.

So I declined his offer, and he said to call him back in the next few days if I change my mind. He has other friends who might be interested, so it's no loss for him (he already has an Xbox, this one was free with Telus internet)

Should I change my mind?

Wrong section my friend. And there are other games that are exculsive or run better on the Xbox. For example, most open world games tend to be better off on a console. It makes it so much easier to handle in my opinion. Look up some games for it and see if any interest you that you haven't tried yet.

Assuming you do want an x-box? I'd buy a new one if I were you.
