Dragon Age: Origins (just came out, love it; love it so much it may upend Baldur's Gate as my favorite game)
Assassin's Creed (because the second one's coming out and looks great)
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Too Human (frustrating gameplay, but an RPG and one with a decent story at that)

Wait what? Let me get this straight, you have a PC capable of running games which is the best platform for RPGs...........and you bought a 360 looking for RPGs? Well, Lost Oddysey is the only one I can think of that isn't on PC. There's also Fable 2 but it's really nothing like Pete said and is more of an Action Adventure game.

Why not get Dragon Age, or Mount and Blade, or the Witcher, or Baldurs Gate 2, or Diablo 2 and soon Diablo 3? I'm fairly sure you could run all of them and more if you spent that 360 money on your PC.

I iz cafuzeld.
Err...no. I haven't bought one yet, just considering it. Secondly, it's not like I only play RPGs

ZOMG.

Am I missing something? Because PCs sure as shit don't need to be constantly upgraded. Christ, how do people still believe that?
Because they haven't realised that a 2.6ghz dual core and 2 gig of ram has been the recommended spec of every game released for about 5 years

Dead Rising and Crackdown. Honestly though, if your PC can run games like Mass Effect well then an XBox would be more like a downgrade. Buy a 360 joypad and connect your PC to a HDTV to get the XBox experience without most of the negatives.

So you can play Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and Bioshock on a PC already... but you need to upgrade... I smell some flame-bait

Yup...but when I have a 1.66 dual core CPU, I think it's time to upgrade it. Plus, ME, Fallout 3 and Bioshock aren't ultra-demanding, unlike games like GTA IV, to name an example.

Recommended, maybe. Minimum, much lower.

I loved the Halo games, personally, but you would want to start with the first one. Story is quite good, actually.

Gears of War 1 and 2 are great shooters: light on the story department, especially in the first one, but great gameplay.

Fable II was pretty good. Mirror's Edge is a good game to play if you want to try something... different. Assassin's Creed is a good one: a bit repetitive, but worth the effort.

Also, get Braid and Castle Crashers from the Xbox Live Arcade. Braid is a brilliant platformer/puzzler, and Castle Crashers is just plain fun.

This is the must-have XBOX360 game.

OT: Castle Crashers is the only thing that comes to mind.
