So this might have been covered in another topic and I'm sorry if it has, but I didn't find anything, so do feel free to send me a link if this has been discussed.
I bought a new XBOX 360 Slim the other day (not refurbished or used at all. Straight out of the box). I was excited to finally play Halo 3. I know I've been behind but after all my rent and bills I decided to treat yself, cut the exclusivity bullshit, and go multi-platform.
So I played Halo 3 and enjoyed it for a bit, and decided I wanted an online experiance, as well as to get some DLC for Fable 2.
NOTE: I don't want people bashing or promoting games here, this isn't what it's about!
Point is: I created a gamertag: Fallen Horde. I tried to turn it into an online profile and it didn't even start to verify. It hit me then: Fallen Horde is taken for online play!
So I went to the XBOX sight and made a gamer tag there instead. PilgrimofWrath. I created the account, so I know the name is free. I go onto my XBOX and attempt to retreive the gamer tag. I enter my e-mail address for window live, I've ensured my gamertag is spelled properly, and everything is perfect.
it will start to verify the gamertag and right before it reaches the end, an error pops up saying "This operation could not be performed at this time. Please try again later"
Anyone experianced this? All help is appreciated
