Xbox 360/ PS3 Comparison Speculation

All of the exclusives for 360 are also on the PC and all the games that are for both PS3 and 360 tend to look and play better on PS3.

None of this sentence is true, but you don't strike me as the kind of person who double-checks their information or makes statements based on fact.

That said, I would have told you 360 wins for me hands down a few months ago, but I am thoroughly enjoying the few PS3 exclusives that have rolled out recently, most notably inFamous. No 360 exclusive that has come out in the past few months has been particularly interesting, for me anyway.

On topic, I like both, for fairly different reasons.

Name one game that is on 360 that's any good that's not on PC other than Halo! Scratch that, Halo sucks.

And they do look better on PS3

Gears one was, not gears 2, Epic didn't port it over nor do they have plans to, that I know of.

I prefer the PS3 although I enjoy playing my friend's 360. I like the PS3's controller better, and I like the exclusives better (inFamous, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted), but I wish I knew more people with a PS3. I only know 2 people that I play online on PS3 with. I know at least 10 people who have a 360, that i would add on my friends list.

That stopped being remotely accurate about November of last year.

Well in my opinion the Xbox 360 has better games.

I'm a huge fan of the JRPG's such as Infinite Undiscoverey, Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata. You know, the type of games everyone on the escapist loves

i have both and i use both frequently because they are strong in different areas. ps3 doesnt overheat, it runs quieter, the graphics are slightly better, and u can do more things on it. 360 is more user friendly, is much better for online gaming, the mic works way better than blutooth, and i dont know about other peoples experiances but most people i meet that game online have 360. that being said neither one is better they both have thier own strengths and weaknesses.

I would go with a PS3 (saving up for one) because it has more games that I would get... every game on 360 that I would get is either on PS3 or I already have it on PC, so it would be a waste of money...

I have both, and I use my 360 significantly more for gaming. This is due to the lack of games that are worth buying in my eyes, coupled with the worse online system and my long-standing hatred of Playstation controllers.

However, I do use my PS3 daily for DVDs.

PS3 is better in every way it doesnt overheat, red ring,has better graphics and its more user friendly not like that xbox live crap.

I've had both, and I think both are genuinely good. PS3 for me, because I got one too many hardware failures from my 360, but I can see why people love that little box too.

Same here. I love playing on my friends' 360s but I wouldn't buy one myself. Maybe I will if they actually fix the rrod thing but I've seen enough friends send their 360s back to scare me away.

How they escaped a forced recall and a class action suit, I'll never know.

Oh, well still, I wasn't that big of a fan of Gears 1. :b But its all just a matter of opinion. I personally like the PS3 better than 360
