Xbox 360 region compatibility

I am about to order a US Xbox 360 from ebay, I am wondering whether it will work for me or not, I live in the Balkans (Europe for those who aren't very familiar with geography)? I'm mostly worried about the game region restrictions and if there even are any, also a bit worried about the power supply box since the Electric sockets are different here (A socket adapter usually fixes this).

I had an American Xbox when I moved to Stockholm, and it worked with every new game I got (PAL games on an NTSC system), except for EA games. Hope that helps.
