Hey escapist, I'm just wondering does the Xbox Slim come with that new white dashboard or the one that is really really old like on previous models?

No, but you're going to be prompted to download it upon turning on the console for the first time. If you don't download the update, you won't be able to connect to Live. The changes are mostly good. Some people complain about cosmetic stuff (the whiteness, mostly), but other changes are great (a search function for Netflix. God, why didn't it have this to start with?).

Cheers for that man, helped me alot, I despise the white myself but what ya gonna dae. They should make an option to customize it
