Ok, so I scoured the interweb for answers to this but every single site I visited had people referring to how they re-soldered the johnson rod onto the xj9 flex capacitor or some shit and I feel like none of it applies to me being your average gamer who may be crazy because of it, but has never opened up his console.

Simply put: I boot up my 360 and no dancing lights avail, not even any red lights, simply a solid green one in the middle. I am presented with a black screen with no audio or visual cues whatsoever. My power brick is displaying a green light and I have unplugged and plugged everything back in twice, what am I looking at?

I could go into the whole error code process with you if you'd like. but if none of the outer ring is lit, you have no controllers connected.

Also take out your hard drive and turn it on, see if that helps.

Oh wow, the hard drive thing actually worked. Thanks for the advice. Still, I expect further issues with this problem-ridden console >.>

There's just something on the hard drive causing an issue...either a saved game, or in the cache. Maybe even an installed game. Have fun with -that- part of it...
