Xbox 360?

Um, yeah, my friend really badly wants me to get a 360, he keeps telling me great games on it and that xbox live is really fun, im not really sure if i do want one, i knod of need a better computer and a few other junk lying round my house, so i was wondering, should i get one or not?

Do a little research first. Check to see if you are willing to play (more importantly, BUY) the games for the 360 as well as the console itself. It's not a bad console. It's actually my personal favorite out of the three. Just keep in mind PC games are a bit cheaper and if you're serious about this xbox thing, you better be prepared to spend some cash.

If you need other stuff, no. Consoles are fun and all, but they shouldn't really take priority.

I prefer PC gaming. Less asshats, all that stuff...
But my 360 doesn't collect dust, I do use it a lot. Although Gears, Dead Rising, and Unreal Tournament, although pretty good, aren't the best games out there, contrary to popular belief. Just like everyone else said, you've gotta see if you're willing to pay for it.

Well, i just scraped enough money to buy one, and the other things i need arn't really great or important,. like they can wait for a while, or i can wait, like ther just new strings for guitar and other npn really important stuff like that, but there are a lot of them

Yes you should totally tell your friend the in my opinion best gaming experience is on the xbox 360

If you can pay for live, and obviously have internet time to sustain it, then get it. Its so incredibly worth it, but you also have to have time to use it in. Make sure you can actually set time to use it

If your options are between a decent PC and a 360, get the PC. You can do quite a bit more of them. I have a 360, and it's a great console, but I'll take the PC over it any day. Really the only games he mentioned that are 360 exclusive is Dead Rising, GOW and Unreal Tournament are available on the PC. If you have other more important purchases that actually affect your life, go for them, then go for a new PC, then an Xbox, in that order. And xbox live is a joke really. It's a lousy system in general, and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay to play a game online. They're not MMORPGs. I'll take the PC.
