Xbox Backwards Compatibility- Missing games?

I know I'm so out of date, I should be stepping out of a Time Machine but today I tried to play Myst 4 on my 360, only to find its not backwards compatible. No big deal, really, I have an original black behemoth to play it on, but I'd rather not drag it out for just one game.

Any other good original Xbox titles I should hunt down that I can't already play on my 360?

I won't play XBOX games on the 360. Partly because it won't allow custom soundtracks to be used properly but mostly because it look untidy on the dashboard when there's no avatar for the game in question.

Ok, granted, playing them on the 360 isn't really an option. But that's sort of why I'm asking this. Is there anything that 360 owners are missing out on that someone who held on to the old box can play?

You can remove the Xbox games from your played games list, which removes the little Xbox icon from your recently played list, and restores balance and prettiness to your dashboard.

As far as I know they stopped emulating games over. I don't mind so much as my favorite Xbox games are still playable on the 360.

Those being Halo 1&2, Morrowind GoTY, Fable, SW: Battlefront 1&2, KOTOR 1&2, and Ninja Gaiden Black.

But there are some games that have slipped through the cracks.

Demon ID beat me to the punch. I check back regularly to see if Timesplitters is ever to grace the backwards compatible list, and come away dissapointed. And as Lt. Vinciti said above me, Barbie? Horse Adventures? Wild Horse Rescue? is on that list. Who is making these decisions...?

On topic, games to check out for the 360's rascally older brother are any of the Conflict games (particularly Global Storm), Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, Deus Ex Invisible War and Area 51.

I sold my Xbox when I got my 360... I have since fixed this problem by getting a used Xbox to go along with my 360.

I'm sure if enough of us start shouting someone will listen, even if it's just the neighbours cat. But that cat might be the cat of the CEO's of microsoft, who knows? All I know is that i'm shouting at the moon demanding it give me my time crystals back.
