Ever since I updated to the metro dashboard that was put out very recently my Xbox has been taking its sweet time shutting off. I'm talking like 10 seconds after I hit the button till it finally stops running.
Turning it off from the settings panel, holding the Xbox guide button and pressing the big power button all yield the same results.
This time is a dramatic and very noticeable increase from the almost instantaneous shutdowns on the old dashboard.
I do log into live every time I play and I have not enabled cloud saving as it is useless to me. Before I spend an inordinate amount of time asking Microsoft support what is up, I wanted to know if anyone here experiences this as well (my friend has it too on his box, his is a launch-era console and mine is an elite that is a year old), or if some release notes explains this sudden increase in shutdown time. Google yielded no results.
