Well, I just got my xbox today (Yay me) and with it I got Halo: ODST, Pure and Lego Batman. Now, first off, is there a point in me playing batman? Is it easy achievements or something special or is it just a regular lego game? Pure.. Well, I have nothing to say there. But ODST
I dont get it. Whats all the hubub about it? Its fun, sure. But theres so many problems with it in my opinion. Online it takes 5 thousand bullets to kill someone (Yes I am exaggerating(Spelling) but I dont really get why people think the online play is so awesome.

Anyway, im wondering what are a few good (Preferably cheap) 360 games. And anyone that wants to arrange a game or two of Halo with me?

EDIT: Ive already finished most games that are on both 360 and ps3 or 360 and pc. (Such as Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fallout, Oblivion and the like)

To be honest, even though I never played the LEgo batman, I really enjoyed the Lego Star Wars games, so it might be worth a look in

id recommend left 4 dead and left 4 dead 2, im sure you can find the first one pretty cheap now. Good co-op or sp games if you dont fancy being owned by a 10 year old who plays mw2 or halo day in day out

I don't really get what's so special about ODST is, either. It's just an expansion. Only more expensive... And not as big as most expansions.

Hmm... I remember playing KAMEO a long time ago, that was fun. It's probably not a very good game, but hell, it was fun.

Ok, as for games, I suppose the price of Mass Effect is down now (If you like RPGs)
Also if you like RPGs, I can recommend Oblivion and Fallout 3, both have their strengths and weaknesses.

As for why people say Halo multiplayer is good... well, some people like it. It may not suit everyone, but it is good for some people.

Yeah this. I loved the Lego Star Wars games, but that might just be me being childish.

Depends on the gun, and where you shoot. Energy weapons are more effective against armored and shielded enemies while bullet weapons are more effective against flesh. Go for the head, and enemies will go down reasonably quickly.

Mass Effect shouldn't set you back more than 20 bucks and with ME2 just around the corner it'll be a good choice. If you're into RPG's you should try Fallout or Oblivion.
And Bioshock ofcourse! Wait, were you a pc-gamer or something?

People are gonna come here for one thing and one thing only. To bash ODST. But I may be proven wrong so don't count on that.

But to answer your questions in order.
1. Can't say as I have never played it.

2. I have only heard bad hubub about ODST as many see it as an 'Expansion Pack'. I personally think it's a good game, albeit it a bit short.

3. Try and pick up Assassin's Creed 1 second hand as I think it's a good game. Others to get Oblivion if you're into RPGs, DIRT 2 as it's dirt cheap now, I think and Crackdown.

4. I cannot partake in the Halo as I do not have LIVE.

Your problem with halo seems to be it's not realistic, at least from your "5 thousand bullets" comment. People like it because being shot a little doesnt mean death, where as many many other games being shot first=dead first whilst on halo you actually do have a chance to either escape, outshoot or just win through strategy. With alot more games being more and more realistic, i'm quite happy we have a game where one bullet doesn't equal 1 kill. I want to point out i totally get your opinion, i'm just telling you mine for conparision.

anyway i few good cheap games would be: Mass effect (especially if you want to get mass effect 2), batman arkham asylum (good enough that it's my only game to date where i have 100%), if you like driving games Dirt and Grid are great choices oh and castle crashers.

In regards to castle crashers its one of the most fun games you can play with four people at your house.

Of course you should play Lego Batman, it's simple, funny fun.

As for cheap games, I'd recommend:

Unreal Tournament 2007 (unless you have it on PC)

The Orange Box

(I'm pretty much set for XBL with the above two, btw)

Oblivion

Mass Effect

Fear

Condemned

Dragon Zero

No one of note

Well, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas (first one), Condemned Criminal Origins, Mass Effect, the Bioshock/Oblivion pack, Platinum hits triple pack, Call of Duty 2, Lost Odyssey, and Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter 2 are all pretty good and should be cheap.

I love pure soooo much, it's the game I'm playing at the moment. :)
I recommend you get Oblivion: GOTY edition, Call of duty 4, Mass Effect and Bioshock :)
EDIT: And Lost Odyssey! A thousand times Lost Odyssey! The most emotional game I have played, It's actually a work of art. And the music is cool. :p

You should definitely get
L4D 2 (If you want you could probably find the first one cheap)
In some places you can find Bioshock and Oblivion being sold together in a bundle.
Gears of war one or two are both great games.
and I would definitely recommend getting the orange box $20 for half life 2 and its episodes along with portal and team fortress.
hope this helps.

I absolutely agree, although I prefer Team Fortress 2 (even if I haven't played it in a while). The damage system in TF2 allows for greater tactical flexibility than if it used a damage system similar to Call Of Duty, imo anyway.

Don't play Lego Batman if you hate large amounts of fun. As for cheap games... Mass Effect is definitely one. Orange Box is another. Dynasty Warriors 6 if you're into hack and slash... And that's about all I can think of at the minute.
