XBOX Live 1 month scratch card error; help?

When ever i try putting in my code i get: status code 801613c9, could not retrieve information from xbox live. Does anyone know the solution?

Make sure it's the right code? Or maybe it's already been redeemed?

Or Google. Google is good.

Has the code expired? I'm not 100% sure that they do, but I think they do.

i would contact xbox support. The one redeeming quality of the xbox is its not sucky somewhat helpful customer support. 1-800-4myxbox. if you are in the US.

Yes i have typed the code 9 times. It has redeemed. It's on my microsoft account. However it doesn't update from silver to gold.

Turn off the box, reload, try again. I had this problem too. If that dosen't work, re-connect to live.
