I got my 360 and it works great if anyone cares. In my third Xbox 360 noob thread I have a couple of questions.

1. I got the 360 from Ebay, it naturally has another account. The Halo 3 info has the Heroic, Cold Storage, and Legendary Map packs. Should I keep his account/data?

2. If no, is there a way to remove his account?

Edit: Oops, 3. How do I delete his account?

Yes, you should keep those maps, those cost money, however, they are tied to the hard drive, not his account, so feel free to delete his account if you wish to start anew.

Keep the information, not the account. Basically, listen to the guy above me.

1. Delete any of the previous game data, but you might as well take advantage of the DLC and see if it still works. If that is the original console the data was downloaded too, a LIVE account is not needed so long as you keep the rights management data under system items.

Any game data will have a profile name under the size notice of the data on the right. DLC does not have anything there. That will helps you tell the difference between game data and DLC.

2. Delete it and all his save game data from the hard drive. His profile itself will be under gamer profiles. Deleting the profile will remove the link to the LIVE account.

*In a nutshell, selete the hard drive and delete anything that is not DLC, or the marketplace data and rights management data in the system tools area of the hard drive.

Thanks! Look forward to sniping your head off!

You know there could be alot of stuff in there that you could benefit from. Sorry but I am gonna do this old school. Log in online and hit the guide (big green button in middle) and look for download history. I believe it is to the left. Now unless he transfered that data to another console you should have access to it. If he transfered you get nothing. If he didn't then you win. Pick whatever you want and hit download again. Could be alot of arcade games and other DLC that you may enjoy. Wouldn't hurt to try.

Don't keep it, just delete it. Go to system preferences then memory. Then profiles. Just delete his and all the data associated with it.
