So, I turned 17 today. And with my new foound age, I was going to download some demos and videos (From M games of corse) from xbox live. I just tried a few seconds a go, and the standard messege came up saying "You are not cleared to download content of this rating" or somthing like that. Which is wired, because I could have sworn putting 1994 in the DoB box.

My main question is: Is thier anyway I can see my age through xbox live.

If I can: Is thier any way to change it to reflect my real age.

Or, do I have to wait to download content with this rating?

Thanks for your help in advance.

EDIT: I went On microsoft.com and used my windows live ID. I checked my age and it said 1994. So, is there something I'm not getting?

EDIT 2: I've discovered that I can download M rated trails but not demos. Not sure how that works.

Someones put child locks on your XBox (Probably for the lulz).

Try the following.

Parental Control Override Code:
Go to Settings
Highlight Parental Control
When the screen pops up that says Enter Pass Code press: X, Y, Left Trigger, X
You'll be taken to the parental controls screen where you can disable the password previously entered -

Wait, you gave them your real age? Why?
Because I'm a good person.

Thats not the problem either. There is no parental control set on mine. Thanks though.

Post on the xbox forums, their support there is usually top notch. It could just be that they're playing it safe and put a blanket 18 rating on everything, rather than risk getting sued because some 17 year old kid managed to get an 18 rated game because the location was off, and then their overprotective mother found out.

Actually, probably just a glitch.
