So let's face it: Xbox LIVE is a breeding ground for jerks and bastards. So, just to sate my curiosity: what is the worst experience you've had on LIVE?

I'll start, though it's hard to choose: i've had so many. I think the most annoying one though was that I was called a racist by a poor loser. It was on Soul Calibur 4, and my opponent had used Lizardman's style on a black girl who he had dressed in a bikini and given an afro to. SHe was also using his joke weapon (a piece of meat and a shield) YIKES! >.<

I commented that his character was kind of offensive between matches. He screamed at me for being a racist, and blocked me. WTF!? :S

okay Escapist; your turn!

Sounds like you started it imo.

Umm, worst I got was a little English kid during a community playdate with Rooster Teeth who kept asking Jack really stupid questions like "Who are you in RvB?"

I had a very funny experience once...

My GT is 'GamesB2' and there was some chav girl in the lobby of modern warfare with her boyfriend in the background.

Thinking she was being hilarious she goes 'Is your name GAMES cause you like GAMES!!'.

Me and my friends sit there like... you're stupid.

Then she started calling us gay and saying her boyfriend would find us and beat us up.

We just agreed with her saying we were gay and her boyfriend would join us for 'fun time'.

We had great times baiting chavs...

I once played a game of CoD 4 where some ten year old ws yelling and swearing all over the place. It was kind of annoying, but another little kid started telling him to shut up andsuch. He made some really good points, such as most little kids don't use mics because of assholes like the loud mouth. It's my favorite moment from that game.

These types of scenarios are exactly why I don't bother having a gold account, but, one of my friends did a few years back. We were playing a Capture the Flag round of Halo 3. For some reason when I play these games, no one ever notices when I get the flag, I have no clue why, they just don't, so I always rush in straight line to the flag and back. Well, I was doing this as per usual...when suddenly people started yelling at me for trying to return the flag! I was like "WTF? Isn't this 'capture the flag'?" And this was from both teams, mind you. I was proper confused (as was my friend). Of course I ended the round, because fuck them, I like winning and got my ears chewed off for it.

I was playing GRAW 2, and I witnessed a conversation between two players on my team. One was a young child, and the other was, perhaps, 20 years old. The 20 year old claimed that the child shouldn't be playing a game meant for adults, to which the child replied with something along the lines of "screw you, my dad was a marine and he bought this gme for me". The fight escalated to the point where the two players were standing face to face ingame, threatening to shoot eachother.

In GRAW 2, friendly fire was mostly turned on, so all out wars within teams often occured.

In Halo 3 I get a lot of abuse from both teams for using the warthog which annoys me to no end as driving the hog is possibly my favourite thing to do in social games and I have just over 2000 wheelman medals in total.

The abuse has been balanced out by the amount of messages I get congratulating my driving when I manage to get my gunner invincible and perfection medals though.

One kid got super pissed when I melee'd him to death with the flag when he tried to kill me.

My favorite was a kid on TF2. He kept insulting our team and then going on and on about how awsome spies were. Everytime the other team killed him he would rage about the "*****" that killed him. Then when he did get to kill an enemy he would go on and on about how he owned and spies were the best. Needless to say he got killed many times by the other team, and our people didn't really jump in to save him.

But over all my experiances have not been to bad, I just hate those hosts who drop the game if it looks like they will lose.

Playing Halo 3, the entire rest of the team is using party chat and I can't hear a thing from them. I spend most of my time driving on the warthog, and after the end of the match -that we lose-, I get a voice PM from one of them pretty much calling me a complte and total idiot and worthless player. Seems kinda bitchy that I can't follow orders I can't hear, and nobody wanted to invite me into the convo!

My most recent one was on Halo when it was only me in team snipers and so I camped in my base considering we had the lead, and I just kept moving camping spots, so after the game they called me a n00b and a no talent ass fuck. Well in respons I invited them all for a 1v1 and beat them all. They were all kids anyways.

Is that because they get all pissy and upset? I enjoy hearing them get all worked up over winning.

I've had very few bad experiences though. I never use the mic because I don't like talking to idiots and I'd just end up telling them what to do so we can win. I only ever get the gargled mic and the ten year old screamers.
