Hey Fellow Escapists! This is aimed at my fellow Xbox360 players. Me and my friend are looking for some good 2 player co-op arcade games.
Can u recommend us any?

We're also taking recommendations for plain good arcade games and also bad ones to avoid.

Monday Night Combat is just what you and your friend need. Not only can you play online against others, shooting up bots and people, but you can work together online or offline to shoot up as many waves of bots as you possibly can. It's great fun and is really well made.

You could also try Magic the Gathering. I haven't played the full game but the demo was pretty darn good. It's basically the trading card game brought into the xbox, which is pretty cool. I suggest you get the demo if you're unsure about it.

Castle Crashers. Good fun arcade game with up to four player multi.

Castle Crashers. Forever Castle Crashers.
I haven't played this game in a while but it really is a great downloadable title.

I would also suggest Duke Nukem 3D if you don't already have it. It's a plain-good one but the multiplayer isn't local.

Castle Crashers. Great co-op game and it has so much replay value: tons of unlockable characters, and the level design just never gets old. Also, Laura Croft and The Guardian of Light is another fun co-op title and if you're a completionist then you'll adore it.

Limbo, Outland, Shadow Complex.

And above all else, for the love of god,

BANJO-TOOIE!!!

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the coop part, no wonder so many people were saying Castle Crashers.
Outland may have coop, but I never got a chance to play it as it requires playing online and I don't have a gold membership. I've heard good things about Laura Croft's new XBLA outing and it's legitimate coop aspect.

Yeah yeah, Monday Night Combat is sick. We had so much fun playing the trial but I never got around to buying the full version.
