xbox live connection issues.

well well well. I have searched the forums through and through, since I cant find help on google I will ask here.

My xbox is brand new, teamed with my brand new Linksyes router I still cannot connect to certain friends on xbox live.

I am not asking for 5 people to give me the same solution
I pray for alot of people to give me many different solutions, so I can finally find the one that cures my problem.

well... ok ill try the NAT settings, but i tried it already :/

and after spending a half hour on the phone with people from tech support i just cant stand them.

Maybe the router is of the secured variety and you need to open the Xbox live ports.
