Ok, so I just received my wireless router to connect to xbox live, and was so excited to finally be able to get broken steel and the Pitt...and then the problems started. I tried to test the connection, and got an error message detailing how my MTU settings sucked. Does anyone know how to fix this? (Oh, and xbox live help has been loading for 10 minutes...)

I think LIVE's down today, sorry
Oh, is that the reason? I saw that, but I assumed it was a different problem.

Wouldn't it just say "you are an IDIOT for trying to connect today" instead of talking about MTU settings?

There's Xbox.com; you'd think he'd have checked there before posting here...

I think he is referring to a wireless adapter that goes on the back of your 360; not an internet router for his house.

Which is why I said wireless reciever (adapter) and not wireless router.

So then he should be able to connect to Xbox.com, or in this case not so (as is the case with any server update) - my point is still valid and we are going around in circles.

Also setting down the basic infrastructure for the on demand game service.
Hence why they need the whole day and not just a few hours.

Which is why I am leaving this discussion, good bye (imagine the good bye in the way AOL had it way back during the dial-up days.)
