Wow, so that means I get(hold on, need to do some super rad to the max extreme calculations here) nothing! Yeah, it's great that they reward people who buy points, but for those of us who just buy games, it's pretty much just a slap to the face.

This is hardly a reward, 1% MSP back? 25 cents worth of MSP?

PSN gives free multiplayer.

With PSN you can buy games day-one digitally.

PSN+ gives you free games & DLC.

Call me when they do any of that.

I may sounds like an hater but I'm an X360 player FYI.

Eh... i have 30k gamerscore and rarely ever purchase anything in terms of DLC. haven't since March and my birthday is in April. Not really sure this is good news for me, seems a bit cheap on their part for such low percentages. Though i guess something is better than nothing.

Nintendo WiiU premium pack - Get 10% back on everything you buy digitally.
Microsoft - Buy premium and get only a chance of getting 2% back.

Really Microsoft? Really?

Those rewards feel like carnival prizes. You spend 60 bucks to win a teddy bear that cost 5-10
Except in this case, you'd win a teddy bear that costs 60c. Generosity!

But that's only $20 to get a $0.25 free gift.

Are they still selling games with xbox live trial memberships? You might even have a few laying around your place. If you happen across one, you might want to start up live just for the free gift, just to say you got it and thus everything XboxLive has to offer.

Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox LIVE Rewards right now. It's strictly because the program is not available in your country. Check back often as new countries are being added to the program.
Fine day again to live outside of US and every else country where this works. I only can hope it comes someday to Finland.

Anyone with a birthday this month know what the gift is? Mine was in August, so I have awhile.
Mine too but if you read the fine print this offer ends 6/30/2013 lol bastards.

As for the rewards program itself I have earned 1440 points (which for me is 20 buck card + 40 points) from it since last year. For not doing anything I wouldn't do anyways. Well except that 1 time I left it on facebook for an hour while I watched tv lol. So if you are a gold member it is definitely worth the time to sign up

Better than nothing.

Laughably pathetic and completely inconsequential to us people who don't buy everything Microsoft puts out on their virtual marketplace, but still: better than nothing.

Maybe this is their way of saying "perhaps we're making too much income. Better stem the flow just a bit."

I'm a good guy gamer but I got a poor score because I don't play online as much and when I do, I like to play exclusively with my friends. The can only review me so many times.

Do I get a cookie...?

This is seriously shitty from Micrsoft, it's actually insulting.

I was hoping for a bit more than this, but "For all the money you've spent getting 25,000 gamerscore, we're giving you 2% of the extra money you spend back". Probably in the form of Microsoft points to buy even more stuff.

Fucking arseholes, never going back to console.

Two percent of zero is still zero!

But for the few times I do purchase DLC from XBL's marketplace I suppose it's better than nothing.

1%...eh. Not worth it honestly. Only got about 3 months left of my gold subscription and don't see myself renewing it anytime soon after.

Hardly use my 360 anymore anyway.

Tried signing up for it only to find out that it's not available in my country. So is this a US only thing? Lame. Geographical restrictions is the most ridiculous thing on the internet. The whole point of it is that it is international, so give everyone the same access. Is there ANY proper reason whatsoever why Sweden and other European countries are shut out from this HIGHLY GENEROUS campaign?

So... am I the only one that's afraid that developers are going to see this in a different way and say:

"Players get rewards based on their gamerscore? That means that if we create a game with a ton of easy achievements for a lot of gamerscore we could use that as a selling point."

Some how I feel that enticing more players to care about their GS is gonna' backfire in OUR faces someday. Hopefully I'm wrong though... hopefully.
