A billion hours a month wasted on Live? It's no wonder we can't find a cure for cancer...
As others have said, it's not hard to rack up a billion hours a month. I suspect that the NFL and MLB (probably NBA too) rack up similar numbers when in season. And what about soap operas sappin' the productivity of the nation's housewives, or those evil comic books polluting our children's minds...

I also suspect that only a tiny fraction of those billion man-hours per month come from oncologists and molecular biologists.... and I somehow doubt that a typical gamer has the right skill-set to track metastacyte (sp?) distribution via the lymphatic system.

Hmm rather frightening, made me think about my warhammer online characters. I have clocked up 60 days on him over roughly 2 years of playing on and off. Still dont have everything on him either. Would love to know in total, how much of my entire life have i spent playing computer games/on a computer.... In fact I probably dont want to know :/
