hey guys i was hoping you can help me with a problem. Whenever i want to play my xbox it works fine but when i want to play a disk it comes up with open tray... I had found out the disk drive inside is not spinning the disk. Do you have any solutions i can try.

Mine does this.
It then works solidly for a month then hiccups every week. It can be fixed, it seems, by changing it from horizontal to vertical and vice versa 'til it works but I suspect it does more harm then good so I wouldn't suggest that. Or failing that a firm but not too hard whack above the disk tray seems to work for me but again, probably more harm then good.
Just phone customer support, they know more about this stuff then I do.

It happens to me. Every now and then it happens, I just open it up, take out disc, close tray, open and put disc back in, close. Usually works, if not give it a couple tries, it really isn't a big problem unless it happens often.
Heh, reminds me of a problem I had with Halo 3 once, I popped it in, and for some reason, the 'Box read it as a movie, and I was just reading this wall of characters
