Hey guys so recently Iv been trying to collect footage for a youtube channel I wish to make using game story lines and also showing the better points of RPG's and FPS games back in the day and bad stuff, but I hit a snag in Xenogears were I have Fei and Citan in late 20's levels..but they only have 2 deathblows.

If anyone know how to level up the deathblows in Xenogears please tell me I have NO IDEA how it leveled up back in the day!

Practice makes perfect. Deathblow 'codes' are earned through the process of using their individual patterns often enough until the game goes "Hey, you just learned THIS!". Sometimes, you just need more levels and experience, but essentially it's keeping track of how many times and in what order you went and pressed a certain button order.

First off, you regain my attention easier via the quoting so I get a message.

Second of all, there are actual story reasons for why you haven't gone beyond Hoten or haven't even finished them. I found this most peculiar myself. SInce you CAN moniter the progress of the thing, I must assume that when a certain stimulas stopd working, switch to another and see what happens. I did alot of random stuff in the game in order to find stuff. You'll get there.

So just keep alternating deathblows?
Basically, just keep using different button combinations. Pretty much every character's deathblows require the same combos to use, so if one character earns a new Deathblow, try having the other characters use the same combo.
