Xfire Problems

Yup, I'm full of PC gaming problems today.

This time it's Xfire. Anytime I have it running, my computer will not boot a single game at all. It instantly crashes. As I used to use Xfire for easy matchmaking with friends quite often this is a big problem.

My games run fine without Xfire running. What do you recommend?

Sounds like a problem with the hook dll Xfire uses to detect games. Try an Xfire reinstall, and check to see if any firewall or antivirus programs are interfering with the dll.

Hmm just tried those. Still having the same problem.

Have had problems like that as well. No idea how to fix it =(.

OP: i say you dont use xfire for a while, until they release a new patch.

Try their support service. Valve's Steam support answers your emails quickly so XFire must be ALOT faster.
