Photoshop CS3 is about as friendly as my Lawn Ninjas at home to me.

I dunno, If you're looking to make stickfigure animations, use Pivot.

an old version of flash mx would probably be the best, but I would suggest flash 8 professional because frankly it's the best flash for animators and the only flash you are going to need for what you're doing, every other flash either has a pile of unnecessary junk stacked onto it or requires a computer that looks somewhat akin to the monolith from 2001 space odyssey
