yer another Zombie thread

Zombies, we all love them. So much infact that everytime I logg onto the escapist forum I see at least 10 new ones. Sure, theyre funny: they smell, bite, run and blow up real good! But why are they so interesting? what makes Zombies so great that they are everywhere?
(Maybe the escapist should have a Zombie forum as well?) My question to you L33ts and n00bs out there is: What is your ultimate Zombie holocaust? How do YOUR dream zombie look? and Why do you love them?

MY dream Zombie is one of michael Jackson but he is all eaten by maggots and his tung is replaced by a snake xD

You start by saying that there are too many zombie threads and proceed to say that this is another zombie thread? Doesn't that technically mean you're adding to the problem?

Anyway, back on topic.

I guess I would have to stick with the traditional shambling zombie rather than the new trend of 'infected' (a screaming madman who can be downed rather easily isn't as scary as a slow, unstoppable hulk that doesn't care what you do as long as it can feast on you).

[rant]I didn't like that video. Those are not zombies. Real zombies aren't that coordinated (except in L4D). Also, he states in the beginning that the video doesn't endorse a belief in the occult, but the zombies he showed (i.e. rising from the grave) are classic horror zombies. Occult zombies are people put under a spell by a shaman or priestess.[/rant]

I don't care what the zombies look like as long as bullets are effective against them.

Perhaps a zombie that can walk and run and function in the same way as a human (planning, scheming etc.) but is single-mindedly driven to devour your brains.

I don't think humankind would win.
