Yet Another MW2 Thread : Quickscopers

What is so bad about quickscopers, people hate us as much as they hate noobtubers!

I mean really, you're comparing the lowest skill to largest reward strategy (tubing) to the highest skill to least reward strategy, what is so bad about quickscoping?

I isn't that hard, hold the aim button for half a second then pull the trigger when the opponent is just in the right place.

It is harder than tubing but not by much, your walking round with a one shot gun, so while you have to aim (unlike toobers) your still killing guys quicker than you could with a machine gun.

I learned how to do it at a slightly below average level after 4 or 5 hours of practice ... anything taking serious skill would take longer than that.

Tubing is still worse than quickscoping in my opinion. At least quickscoping involves you using a gun, but the problem with quickscoping is that it exploits the high power of the sniper rifle and people use it in a role where it isn't sniping any more. It's more of the developer's fault for putting such a mechanic in, but it's rather stupid when you see people whining about lack of quickscoping when they move to other shooters.

TL;DR, Quickscoping is not sniping, you should act like a sniper, not rambo.
