Yet another tech question.

My question is: how do I get my NAT to work on the PS3? I do a Network Settings check and it says NAT Type: Failed. I can go on the internet, but not on games. I have a dynamic IP. Is there some thing I need to know?

Sorry I wish I could really help more but my tried and true method is use a hard connection. If that doesn't work then you got a diffrent problem

is it wireless? (I don't game online with consoles so don't be mean if that was a stupid question please) if so, you might just have tough security that need a WEP key.

Ok, I had this problem.

What you need to do is designate a Static IP address for your PS3 and then either place it in a DMZ or forward the ports that it uses. How you do this depends on the type of router you use.
