You and animals

I consider myself pretty cool with other peoples pets. Occasionally I run into a dog who hates my guts just because I'm different or a cat who cannot be asked to give me the time of day but on the most part animals like me and I like them.

So, are you very sociable when it comes to domesticated animals? Or do animals cringe at your very presence.

Oh, I'll forgive you if you say you are allergic to fur or have a fear of snakes. I'm not asking you to tackle your fear/allergies.

I like most animals, although I'm not too fond of dogs. Probably because I'm allergic though.

I used to have a pet cat, and currently have a rabbit.

In the family we also have two budgies and a parrot.

Most animals seems to like me. Except dogs.
For whatever reason dogs see me and either try to rape me or kill me. Usually the latter option. If you hear some dog barking it's head off at 7am it's because I walked past. Coincidentally I'm somewhat scared of the bigger breeds of dogs.

I'm usually really good with animals. As long as they are domestic, I don't really care. Some of the wild ones would scare me a bit if I saw them running around though. But I don't think I'd see any of those outside of a zoo or circus.

I'll put this in a very nerd way: If I lived in the DnD universe, I'd be a ranger. I get along better with animals then I do with people. Other then snakes (I hate and fear them), I love animals and they seem to know it.

I have no problems with animals in general. I like dogs and cats. I think I'm not allergic to any animals. Although I have almost stepped on a adder three times this summer and the summer is not even started And I don't own any animals but I think my girl wants to get them when we move into bigger house.

I am famed for being good with animals [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.192677-Baby-ducks]. Of course I have to deal with them often in the line of duty, so being comfortable with them helps.

Some guy I know is allergic to cats but keeps on buying them, which I think is a little rash.

I'm always cool with animals and other peoples pets. With dogs I always let them get used to me first and then give a little scritch behind the ear. Most animals seem friendly toward me too, it's rare that they aren't. (even wild animals approach me sometimes or don't seem to be afraid.)

Animals don't seem to like me.

It's no skin off my nose (unless it's some stallion of a dog who takes umbridge to me, in which case it's literally a case of skin being off) - sometime in the future I'll buy a kitten and raise it from a young age to like me. That'll break the chain.

Most animals I meet tend to get on with me, cats especially seem to love me which I'm often told is weird by their owners. (Move around a lot so currently own no pets)

I did have my glasses stolen by one of those monkeys they train to fetch coconuts while travelling in Thailand though. (Got them back in the end)

OT: I am liked by, and like, all types of pets; except for small dogs. I despise the yappy little fuckers and they know it. Woe is me because at the moment I live with someone who has two chiwawas, evil bastard dogs. This is offset slightly by him also owning a lizard whose specific species I unfortunately have forgotten, but the dogs are more in your face.

In summation: big dogs, fine; little dogs, cunts.

hahaha, this part made me laugh. Different in what way sir?

My smell, my handsome good looks maybe? I don't know why but some dogs just don't like me on sight. Most like me immediately though.
