When I first made this account, a Dilbert comic strip popped into my head in which Dogbert says "Shave the whales."
My mind went to "Nuke the whales."
I searched it, and was delighted to find the still image of my current avatar. A while later, there was an avatar request thread, and I thought "Hey, I'd love this to be animated."
So I asked for it to be done, and Fanboy did an amazing job in creating my avatar. I have never changed it, and I don't plan to either.

I found this on my source for gif avatars a few months ago and I found it funny so I made it my avatar. Though I wasn't satisfied with the number of deaths (there were only 8 in the original) so I edited it to add little shout outs to people I know and amusing things. This has been by far one of my more popular avatars and I brought it back a week ago because I liked it so much.

Before I knew basically anything about who the hell everyone in Gensokyo was, the sword was what made Youmu stick out to me past anyone else. Later, I also found that looking in the right away, personality-wise I have a bit too much in common with her - short-tempered, single-mindedly devoted to some things and don't know as much as I think I do. I've changed it to about ten different characters but Youmu is the only one I've come back to out of that pantheon.
