You can only save once

Take any game you want but there is a twist.
In your game you can only save ONE time, there are no checkpoints, no quicksaves and you can't overwrite the save unless you start a new game.

So in any game you choose, where would you use up your one and only save?

Majoras Mask is my game of choice and after 3 or 4 days. I slow down time, play 3 or 4 days (since only 1 save we take it that the game doesn't save after time travel but a manual click in the... options menu?) and then I think I should be able to get it in 3 or 4 more days, so basically half way through. Since I've played it once I don't think I would get stuck and everything would go smoothly.

Halfway through. Far enough back that if you die on the final boss you can improve your character, and 50/50 on the content you have to replay if you die.

About 70% through, so there's only 30% of the game to go, but still plenty of time to improve should I fail.
