Today on the train to college i saw new grafitti that said;

"The world is more than your hand can grasp"

and the first thing i thought to myself was;
"That doesnt mean a conqueror can't try"

My question to you is; how would you respond to someone saying that to you?
[I mean the grafitti bit btw]

Nah, I'm pretty sure I can take over the world. Not necessarily by force, more by my adept powers of being awesome.

I would say that's very true, and a lot of people would do well to heed it's message, I wish the grafitti where I live was that profound.

Wow, that's an insightful piece of work that you saw. Wish the scummy bandits round here would think of something worthwhile to say before they paint...

I'd have to agree with his statement.

I read that as meaning, "There is more to reality than what you can possess or take hold of."

Well I immediately thought of Steve Buscemi singing that song 'He's got the whole world in his hands' to that kid in Con Air...

Who ever has it in his hands clearly did it in defiance of that grafitti artist....Probably God, so yeah, God wins :)

And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer.

When you control the people you have all the hands you need.

I'd paint over it. Nothing ruins the serence spooky still life aura of urban decay like the presents of colors & lines that don't belong there.

If it's grafitti & you can read it, does it even count as grafitti?

I don?t think I could hold the whole world.

That?s a lot more profound then most train graffiti I see around these parts which usually consist of some thug?s jolly pirate name in funky letters.
One time I saw a train that had
?Dont let da rats run your sitty!? (sic) graffiti?d on the side of it. That?s pretty profound

Well guys apart from that, all the other grafitti in Ireland is crap.
When did it become uncool to actually paint something? Like a pig? Or Batman?

"The world is more than your hand can grasp"

" the world is but a word to which your mind creates to limit it's focus"
