But on a serious note, no, it's not cool. I'm accepting of pretty much every life-choice, sexuality, way of thinking, you name it. But this is something that is very much not natural.

Hell, I'm not even against incest 100%, perfect example being the German couple that turned out to be twins separated at birth who now have 2 kids. I wouldn't dare tell them to separate, and am happy they found love. But when it's someone you've been raised with, it's different.

Same goes for the adopted child and blood child falling in love. No, if they've been raised as brother and sister, it just isn't right. Sometimes there are just some things we can't have in this world. Family in that way is one of them.

That brings an interest point. There is a show in the UK, that has a case where these two people were an open happy couple. One put in care at an early age and then got adopted by another family. The other grew up with his biological mom and dad. So they met, liked each other, fell in love and became a strong loving couple. Then things turned upside when they had to do the meet the parents situation. The mom pointed out something that was itching her brain because her sons boyfriend looked like her husband. So fast forward to the show, they decided to do a DNA test and results showed that they were actually brothers. That moment I was just in shocked and so was everyone else. The couple had no idea what to do so they had to see different therapist. In the UK incest is illegal, so I guess for legal reasons, they had to put them through therapy and see where it goes from their.

I think the story with the dad was either he slept someone, during his current marriage and then lost contact with the other woman or something to do with sperm donor. So the mother (the woman) gave the baby up for adoption after birth. I felt really bad for them both cause they were in love and now everything is just upside down.

I pointed out that you hadn't really made an argument to support what you were saying, and you responded by saying that people who blindly accept incest were doing the same thing. How was I supposed to interpret that? If I wasn't included in that group, than your response was irrelevant. If I was included, than your response was wrong. In either case, saying that the other side is doing the same thing refutes your argument as efficiently as it does theirs. No matter how you look at it, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Certain things just don't require a long explanation to prove they're bad. First degree premeditated murder, rape, pedophilia, etc. Incest is one of them. It's just wrong.

sorry to butt in here, but let's try to keep things a bit civil. However in the cases you mentioned: murder, rape and pedophilia, these all have a clear victim, someone being harmed.

In the case of willing, consensual incest, who is being hurt? Especially if no child comes of it? Who is the one who will be damaged or forced to suffer as a result? Who is the victim?

Rape, murder and child molestation aren't bad because "they just are"; the reasons that they're bad are just very simple. They all hurt people in horrible, horrible ways. The same isn't true for an issue as complex as incest. Does it hurt and/or damage people? The answer is a vague and uncertain "Well... sometimes?"

To say that something is bad because "it just is" is the ultimate cop-out.

I would question where my parenting went wrong, then ask if this is 'love' or them just being horny teenagers. I would try to persuade them to go and date other people that's not related to them and see what happens from there. If that fails then they better fucking wait until they're adults if they want this relationship to be serious, and i'll warn them if this is truly what they want, then they better be ready for the potential fallout if this relationship goes horribly wrong. I would also recommend if they want a child then it'll have to be either a donated egg/sperm because there will be no inbreeding in this family.
