I'd be the captain in Sid Meier's Pirates.
Finding treasure, swaying governor's daughters, recruiting crew and taking over enemy seaports and ships for my fleets. hunting down pirates, combined with cutlass dueling and dancing with pretty chicks. sailing the carribean sounds like a lotta fun.

Seriously though, I can't think of any, except those Sims I made whose lives were perfect. Most games seem to be built around characters whose lives suck (otherwise there'd be no game), but who just about have the skills to overcome the suckage to win the prize.
I'd be shellshocked by the end of the day if I wound up having to be a videogame character. I'd be driven to absolute irreversible if I had to go an entire week. If I survived that long, anyway.
Probably Jack from Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Simply 'cause he's awesome, and he has the voice of Bender.

Well, since there's too few female characters to chose from... Elika from Prince of Persia 2008 was okay... I'd also be fun to be Payne, from FFX2.
But I think I would probably want to be Farah, from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, or Kaileena from Warrior Within. Because they both got to have sex with the Prince.

Probably Jim Hawkins from those Treasure Planet games. I would love to sail on a ship (I am this summer, but not in the right time period). Maybe Jak from Jak3. It's be awesome to have those light and dark powers!
