Grab my AK and my XDm plus my spare mags, toss my non-perishables and any other quickly grabbable, useful supplies in my backpack, take the stairs down and out of my apartment building, go across the street, steal a boat, and sail across the narrows to the neighboring island.

I'm safe with time to spare.

Realistically? Grab a beer and watch the terrorists get mowed down by all of the armed civilians here in town. Don't fuck with Alaskans.

Well, I'd run to get the guns, ammo, my medic bag, first aid kit, a hoodie, and the truck keys. If somehow my house didn't burn down by then, I'd get in the truck and drive it about two blocks before the engine blowing because I don't know how to drive a stick. Then I'd crawl into the old powerhouse that I'd most likely make it to and try to work up the bravery to shoot myself before burning to death or getting shot up.

Yeah, I'm no optimist.
