Granted the rest of the film's effects are terrible as well but this part takes the cake.

Classic Doctor Who has always had dodgy special effects.
But this has got to be one of the worst.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It had some pretty bad cgi in some spots. Azog looked fucking awful.

The CGI in both Hobbit movies is unforgivably bad.

How the fuck does that even happen and make it into the movie?

They did those scenes only a few months before the movie came out. I imagine that had some negative effects on the quality.

I love bad movie effects. They make me respect good effects so much more. They also bring laughter.
