Some of us just don't play games that have zero stories. To me, it is required to get invested on the character. If there's no story, it feels like a casual game for me. Exceptions are if the gameplay is very awesome and atmosphere is well done. For example, I love the Untitled Story and Plants VS Zombies, games with either little to zero story.

You can still play a single player game in spirit, where instead of bitching about games just sit back and enjoy them.

Right now I'm enjoying Persona 2 so much. I love the oldschool game BS over the bland streamlined hollywood action movie games. I'm weird and would rather get lost than be forced down a linear corridor with no exploring.

Who said all compelling games are hollywood action or linear corridors? Or are you just picking the 70% bad games these days? I can at least agree with that. But don't judge me that my investment in storyline comes from Gears of War 3 or FF 13.

Now if only my internet actually worked on my console, I would be enjoying Portal 2 Coop and possibly some other multiplayer. Tch, I need a new laptop to play DotA 2 with everyone.

I'd say I'd pop onto the Xbox at around 7:00 PM EST time today, probably to play some Halo Reach or whatever anyone else wants to play.

See, I think I'd actually like to do this. However! I have the following multiplayer games;

CoD: Black Ops (I'm shit at it)
AC: Revelations (Also shit)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (Horrendous at it, stupid fucking passing system)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (Surprisingly good, though very out of practice)

I doubt anyone will want to play me, because I'm not up-to-date or cool with my game collection. I also don't have a headset/microphone, so I'll be terrible company. Plus, in the UK, so your 7PM is like midnight for me. It's a Friday too, so I won't even be home at midnight!

However, one thing I would love to do sometime that I've never been able to is play the XBLA version of Worms. There is never, ever anyone looking for a game. Ever. Why the fuck wouldn't you want to play Worms? It's brilliant!
