Having acquired a copy of Armed & Dangerous and Drakengard on the say so of users on this forum, it seems I've discovered atleast one belter I'd otherwise overlooked.
Have you ever picked up a game on the recommendation of relative strangers and if so which was it and was it worth it?

Armored Core and SOCOM. My bud had these games for his PS2 and he loved them, told me how cool they were and after playing them I fucking loved them. I enjoyed the PS2 versions so much that I got all the SOCOMS for the PSP and Armored core and they are just as good as their console brothers. I am eagerly awaiting Armored Core 3 Portable and SOCOM:FTB3 and their inevitable awesomeness.
