I skipped some I wasn't able to answer (Mainly related to stuff like handheld gaming and Cosplay, stuff I really couldn't care less about!)
I quite literally have nothing better to do!
Favorite boss ever
Probably GLaDOS, not really the most challenging, but probably the one I enjoyed the most.
Worst female lead of all time
Lara Croft. I mean, yeah, she's alright to look at, but she's really just a glorified grave robber.
Weirdest character this generation
Dr Fetus.
Least favorite surprise death of all time
Can't really think of one for this... Eli Vance?
Most convoluted gameplay concept this generation
Not an actual game, but I love this quote: "instead of dice, it uses spoons!"
Best powerup ever
Smart Bomb.
Dumbest ability introduced in a sequel
I haven't played any of them since Sonic 3D (Guess I dodge a bullet there), but I've heard in one of them he changes into a "werehog", I mean, seriously? He's a hedgehog, that runs at high speed, and he's blue, that isn't enough? He has to be a werewolf too? *sigh*
Creepiest plot twist to be removed from a sequel
You are Strelok! *dun-dun-duuuuuuuuuuh*
Dumbest collection quests in an expansion pack
Finding 100 Iron Ingots in "The Pitt", I swear that was bugged, I looked f*cking everywhere, only managed to find about 40! D=
Most charmingly garrulous mindshare of all time
English? Please? =\
Best use of hamburgers of all time
Barbecues.
Favorite hero you've ever seen
Duke Nukem.
Dumbest enemy you've seen someone cosplay as
One of those blocks that fall on your head.
Weirdest motion controls this generation
Is "all of them" a valid option?
Worst cutscene ever
Stalin vs. Martians intro was basically the Russian National Anthem with a static picture in the background. I don't think you can get much worse than that.
Least favorite video game moment to be removed from a sequel
No jumping puzzles in HL2. Hooray!
Weirdest ability of all time
I once tried the demo of Final Fantasy 8 (I think, it could have been 7, they all looked the same to me), and there was some girl who somehow summoned a giant chicken above the head of her chosen enemy. Useful, I'll admit, but still weird.
Dumbest celebrity appearance you've ever seen
Patrick Stewart in Oblivion. They kill him off after about, 5 lines.
Most charmingly garrulous RTS faction to be ruined in a sequel
I'm going to have to look this word up, aren't I? Buggerit... *grumblegrumble*
'kay, back. The Mutants in KKND/KKND2. They weren't garrulous in the sequal, but they didn't have monster trucks. You can't take monster trucks away from something without ruining it.
I can only remember ever seeing one, and it was all red and black and I can't remember what the game was. It involved war in some sense. I don't like mine!
Edit: And I the only one that complains about people not reading the post and just answering the question from the link? PRESS I NEED SOMETHING BETTER
"Creepiest collection quests in a PC game"
I seem to recall having to find some soiled underwear in some game I played... That really says more about the games I play than anything else.
Weirdest ability of all time
I once tried the demo of Final Fantasy 8 (I think, it could have been 7, they all looked the same to me), and there was some girl who somehow summoned a giant chicken above the head of her chosen enemy. Useful, I'll admit, but still weird.
Most disappointing villain this generation?
Lucien from Fable 2. They build up the game like theres gonna be a decently big fight, but instead you can either kill him with 1 poke of the sword while he talks or do nothing and he gets shot by the annoying hero of skill. THE END, complete bullshit
Most hated finishing move written about in The New Yorker
...Uh...someone?
Worst cutscene you've ever seen
The fucking laughing scene from FF X. WHY?!
Weirdest cover system you've seen someone cosplay as
...Was that sites creator pissed or something when writing the questions?
Dumbest vehicle controls you keep coming back to
Driving that...thing, in Gears of War 1. To fire the UV turret, you have to switch seat.
Most confusing ability written about in The New Yorker
WHAT THE FU-!
Favorite enemy this generation
Big Daddy, I'd say.
Dumbest ending in Final Fantasy VII
I c wat u did thar.
Worst voice acting of all time
As much as I love the game, Oblivion. Seriously, what the hell? Only 9 voices? And two of those where the same guy, in a different accent.
Most charmingly garrulous unit in an RTS in Final Fantasy VII
-_-
Creepiest surprise death seen at the Tokyo Game Show
...Yeah, I'm gonna stop there.
Best character introduced in a sequel this generation.
Well, I already saw Ezio on here in my hasty scrolling, but in my opinion--which might just get me killed by fanboys if I'm not careful--Pandora of God of War 3 was pretty good. Maybe not the best of every game of the year, but of the ones I've played (not many), I really liked her. If that one risks my death too much, you can pretend I said Ezio... come to think of it, those are the only sequels of this year that I think I've played... I'm falling behind on the times. Oh well, back to my PS1.
