Well, I happened to ask my dad the same question, and even though he knows nothing about the games I play (at least not in any real detail when it comes to the characters or plot), here are HIS choices:
1: Alexander the Great

For mine, however, I would choose:

...Technically that's eight. Oops. Well... If there's really no room on the ship (or TARDIS), then throw out Tali because she and Legion basically do the same thing and at least Legion has more durable armor, no immune system to worry about, and if the platform fails, at least all 1000+ active programs can upload themselves into my cellphone or something.

Between two borderline invincible warships with gigantic laser cannons, a ground team with psychic powers, exploding sniper bullets and a ton of experience with tough motherfucking aliens, and an also invincible shapeshifting murder machine, I'm not thinking the aliens would stand much chance. But I'm not bad with guns so I could pick up an assault rifle if they needed a little extra help.
