while I'm sure some facilities have general hang out areas your "room" is your small private space, so it makes sense that's where ones friends will go
do I mind? nope...my room is decently sized and there's cool stuff in there, but no one really goes in there
though I do always get a very old reflex twinge of panic if my sister (or sometimes mum) goes in incase she found something to make fun of me for...I was very neurotic as a kid and she had a mean streak

I live alooonnneeeee~ Yeah. So, technically, the entire apartment is my room. I'm bragging about it and I'm shameless Nobody uninvited enters. But that's standard fare, right?
As for just the bedroom? Well... When company is over, the door is closed. People don't need to see my gym equipment. They also don't need to see the rope or the horrors under the bed. Unless that company wants the- Okay, shutting up. Never-mind!!

There's not much in my room let alone things that are worth hiding or I should feel concerned about others seeing, but anyone entering my room makes me nervous. Looking back I'm not sure how I managed to tolerate roommates and a shared room for the first three years of college.
I'm about as indifferent as can be when it comes to someone just being in my room. If they touch or mess with much of my stuff, however, I'm probably not gonna be very happy.
I'm cool as long as no one tries to find my porn[footnote]They can just ask where I keep my porn first before they start trying to find it, at least...[/footnote] and/or starts speaking like my step-uncle once anyone steps into my bedroom...
Other than that, no one else but me can sleep in it because it's set up so that only I can sleep in said room comfortably... *begins to set up sleeping arrangements on the floor next to my bed*
(Also, knock first before you enter my room... or else you might end up with "hot jizz" in your face, if you know what I mean...)

Usually cool, so long as it's not my Dad (waaaaay too nosy) or a bunch of people just randomly hanging out in there out of the blue. Like...say one person comes in, you hang out for a bit, then another person comes in looking for the other person, and then ANOTHER person shows up, and next thing you know there's suddenly a small party going on and it long outstays its welcome.
If I'm playing multiplayer stuff with friends, great.
If it's my brother, my best friend who is like my brother, or 3 specific women, great (basically the only 5 people I can tolerate or even happily have around 24/7/365).

A few years ago I kept telling my sister to knock, but she basically told me to fuck off.
One day she barged in on me wanking, I covered up quick enough, but she knew.
She wouldn't enter my room full stop after that.

Anyway, I don't like it. I always think they'll touch my computer and either break it or find my porn. There will be a lot of disappointed people in me if they found that.

I'm too embarrassed by the used tissues on my floor to let people in my room. That, and I'm horrible at keeping it clean.
I'm generally pretty passive aggressive too, and maybe even a little hovery. I don't mind having people over by any means, and I had a friend who lived in my room with me for quite a few months in high school, but those things were always on my terms. My parents were both helicopter parents and when kids were over they'd let them in all of my stuff, so I guess I'm really paranoid about personal space and private property now... so when I find out people were moving things around or invading my space I get really freaked out.
It does go both ways though... I won't even touch someone's phone without an 8 page, legally binding, express delivered contract on the terms and conditions of the do's and don'ts of passing it to them.

I don't mind it... Usually people just look at me really confused xD
I have loads of whiskey on the top shelf (no fancy stuff), Warhammer40K figurines under that and my walls are coevered with movie/gaming/music/LFC posters. Many just don't see that coming
But I'm okay with it, doesn't bother me, I also spend very little time in my bedroom, it's my sleeping space

When I'm not around, I lock my bedroom door - my house s full of toddlers, not mine, don't ask - and the only other "key" - quotes are because the other key isn't technically for my bedroom but it fits anyway - is on my dad's ginormously large keyring. So, if I'm not around, that door only opens in case of thunderstorm, to unplug anything expensive. I have surge protectors but they don't always work as advertised. Beyond that, if the little ones are being particularly good, I'll let them watch me play games. This usually lasts about 30 seconds before they're jumping on my bed. The oldest - 5 yrs old - actually asks me what I'm doing or gives advice. She's kinda a novice gamer. I'm still not willing to hand her a controller yet, but you take her pad away and she'll be a terror all. day.
I keep all the non-animated movies in my room, with a stock list currently numbering 373. If a good animated or Disney flick comes out, I'll probably buy it. I just won't keep it. (unless of course it's Marvel) When we get visitors, say my siblings visit, they can take a few, with the simple stipulation of "you break it, you bought it". I mark them on my list whenever they are loaned out, for obvious reasons. If a movie is something they haven't seen. I'll give them my thoughts. but my tastes aren't necessarily everyone else's - I'd rather watch Saw than anything with Zack Galifanakis for instance.
So in summary, am I nice to anyone that enters my room? I see myself as indifferent, though they may see me as antisocial and distant. I think my parents quickly picked up on the social aspect of my hobby when I was planning activities around raid nights coming out of high school. I have that paranoia that comes with "my room, my stuff" but I've learned to exert a level of control and not be terribly overbearing in that regard.

I'm pretty certain that entering my room will cause anyone other than myself to contract ebolaidsyphillis, so naturally I don't like people going in there. I'm just thinking of their health you see.
In reality, no one would ever have cause to go in there except for myself and the dogs, so it's not a major issue. I totally get the "protective of your own space" thing though. For me that's my car, hate giving lifts to people as my car is my little cave.

I feel the most comfortable in my room. But it's mine. I like having like one person in there to watch a movie or something but honestly, I prefer to keep company in other parts of the house so I can leave whenever I want.
Most people don't need anything from my room, so it's either because I'm there in it to talk to or some mystery reason that I have to wonder about since nobody usually needs anything from my room.
Not much to do in my room, unless you want to count seashells or fire up the old Sega Genesis on a TV with no cable hookup Not a lot of standing room either, so I usually send friends to the office.
I live in a one-room student apartment, and because of some weirdness in my layout I ended up having no space for, like, a small couch or some chairs so I can receive visitors to play games with or something. So all there really is to sit on together is a huge king-sized bed and the only other person I want in my bed is a lover. And as I lack a lover, no one really comes over. There just ain't no space for visitors.
Which is a shame because as far as student apartments go I have a damn sweet setup. Humongous bed, decently sized HDTV with consoles and a PC hooked up to it I can game on or watch movies/shows on from said bed and a fridge and pantry almost within arm's reach. Buuut I don't want friends on my bed, it's just a private space for me.
So I'm alone here, which is a shame. This setup is best enjoyed in tandem. So eh, *ahem*, ladies...
