Mine was originally a still picture.
And then Fanboy made this magnificent avatar.
I chose it because it's a funny phrase I picked up after reading a Dilbert comic strip with "shave the whales" in it.
My mind went to "nuke the whales."
And then I found there was actually a picture with that on it.
It had to be mine.

erm, mine is a baby bunny with its head burried. Purpose is that i love rabbits (have two at home) didn't have a pic of my own bunnies (though will have tomorrow so my avatar will change to show my two bunnies) but also because my boyfriend's nickname is Wabbit so it kind of represents him also (only to be completely sickly and annoying lol).
In general its mostly because I liked the image off google and couldn't find one of a kitten murdering anyone.

Mine is, actually, a logo that I created - m y. It's short for "mad yitsa". Mad Yitsa is a word play of my nickname "Medjica" (few of my friends call me Medjica). You need to know my language to say: "Oh, I get it"
I'll try to explain. In my language, Medjica is pronounced similar to Mad Yitsa in english. So... I know, I know. You're blown away, right
