Your best game?

For any of the amateur game makers out here (essentially people who are too silly to program a game without the help of an app), what is your favorite game made by yourself? My personal favorite would be Duck, MD, as it had a good story, and the gameplay had variety.

I made a game back in high school based off Conan the Barbarian. Basicly it was an adventure game where he's stuck in a maze (think Minotaur) and you have to help him find his way out. Thousands of ways to die, only one way out. As far as I know, none of my friends ever beat it, even after showing them the quickest route out of the maze. Was also the only person to make a 100% on the project due to the detail I put into graphics (still were very lame though) and adding midi sound. Almost wish I still had a copy of it, though I highly doubt it would run correctly on any computer these days.

Though that's not to say I dislike Potato. Potato had some fantastic character interaction, as well as some brilliant combat, but Duck, MD, I feel, was far stronger.

I have never heard of those. Ever.

Probably because I've never shown them to the internet. Basically, Duck, MD was an action side-scroller with elements of racing and puzzles, while Potato was my attempt at an RPG (made with RMXP). Both were astonishingly mediocre.

Well I would have finished the greatest horror game ever by now, but nothing seems to infect my dog with the zombie virus. I've tried injecting it with: mustard, motor oil, grain alcohol, syrup, rabies. But don't worry, I'll figure it out sooner or later, oops, i'd write more, but my dog is having seizures again...

Oh. That explains it. You spoke of them like I was missing out on some hugely popular games somewhere on the internet.

i once made a king of fighter demake in wich you choosed the players (they where all the same just different name) and you just needed to tap buttons to lower the enemie health. Oh and it was text mode xD

I also made a pacman but it went through walls and the first stage didnt finish when you ate all the dots.

jump jump halo man. i was trying to figure out how to do a side scroller and made a game where you have to keep a sprite of master chief on screen by hitting z over and over, but press too much and he hits the top and dies. even had a score counter in the end for how many seconds you stayed there

I'd reccomend Rapidshare, it's free, and if you post the link everyone can just download it onto their private PC. Don't know if you need an account or not.

I made a mario game for game maker, but i lost it when my computer crashed and i was sad That game won a competition though, and I've still got the certificate so all is not lost.
