About 75% of the stuff on sale during the massive holiday winter sale of Steam can be considered bargains, with discounts up to 90%.

Personally, I'll just say getting Terraria for 3 bucks was a good deal.

Also, ages ago, Fallout 2 was mis-priced and dropped in the bargain bin along with Fallout 1. During that time Fallout 2 was just released.

Finally, getting Just Cause 2 (physical; not digital) for 1 buck was awesome also.

£1.75 for terraria, THAT is a bargain!

That thing is fun as can be and plenty of time can be put into that game solo, I am sure it's even more fun when two or more people get on the same map and start having a war with each other!

Probably Persona 4. Even with a $40 price tag, the time I've spent with it certainly makes it a good value. 70 hours in and counting, so the price has dropped to less than $1/hour.

Also, a still sealed copy of Symphony of the Night. That was given to my by someone who didn't know what they had.

My best deals:

Unreal Tournament 2004 for 10 bucks - price mistake, it was supposed to be $40 I think.
I found Jagged Alliance for 5 bucks in a grocery store discount bin. I had dozens of hours of fun with that game.

The last Humble Indy Bundle, I paid 7 dollars for 5 or 6 games.

I got the Orange Box for $6 from someone who didn't want the game or his account anymore. This went great until Steam randomly banned my account and I lost the code to prove that I was the owner. Still, nice for the year or so that it lasted.

Recently it was the entire X series for $9. Pretty much any Humble Indie Bundle and of course the Orange Box.

Well if we count it if you use coupons/vouchers I got: A PS3 (250GB), Dead Rising 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, God of War Collection, God of War 3, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time and Resistance 3 all for 20p. I traded in my old Xbox, Wii and all the games and stuff for them and got a store credit voucher, I then used the voucher to take all but 20p off the other stuff.

Otherwise I've not really got any good deals other than some things in Steam sales.

Portal for free. It was having a birthday and Valve figured the best way to celebrate was to give it away to anyone who wanted it.
