Your biggest achievement

Oh hai, Escapist Community!!! Sanguinius Magnificum reporting in. I've been lurking about the forums for like, 2-3 months and I finally decided to open myself to the glory of the internet and create a topic!

So, I've been sitting here, eating Doritos and thinking "have I done something big and/or meaningful in the past 17 years?" Is there some kind of event on which I can look back and say "I'm damn proud of m'self!!!"

Short answer: Nope
Long(er) answer: Eh... maybe that one time when I completed Dark Souls without ever using co-op? Or when I once finished fourth on a jiu-jistu competition? When I could play my first song on my bass guitar? (It was "Stir it up" by Bob Marley, if anyone's interested)

So, what about you, my dear fellow Escapist user, what do you consider your grandest, biggest achievement?

 

[Johnny Novgorod]

I published a novel when I was 16. I'm not very fond of the book myself but it's as big an achievement as I've... achieved.

I have a First Class Honours MA, I'm pretty proud of that.

I know academic achievements aren't the most impressive things in the world but I put a lot of effort into it.

Having my first script accepted by my college's Theatre Arts department for production. Supposed to happen either next spring or next fall depending on the production schedules.

To this day, I would have to say getting my BS in Computer Engineering, as well as obtaining that degree without any debt.

That and I've never been stressed in my life.

I made a pretty app [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bunkerhill.net.sourceforge] that calculates how many metres of water it would take to flood a position on the earth. There are several things that could use improvement with it but I'm massively happy that I even managed to make it.

Other than that, I guess my writing. I'd sort of given up in the last few years but reading through old stuff yesterday inspired me to keep at it.
