The confrontation in Ryan's office in Bioshock. Of course I can't say what it is because it's spoilertastic, but if you've played Bioshock (and if you haven't then what the hell is keeping you?) then you know what I'm talking about.

Same here. I literally couldn't believe what had just transpired when I saw that.

That was the moment when the game went from "Damn, this is good", to "I want to have babies with this game".

In Half Life 2: Episode 2 when you fight the last wave of antlions in the mines and realize that the vortigaunts are like chuck norris... if he could shoot lightning. That fight is my favorite moment in the whole series.

The 'Cascade Falls' level in World in Conflict. Very tense the whole way through, and it ended with something that was even bigger. It was also sad though.

Final Fantasy 13: Sazh and Vanille's scene at the finale of the Nautilus chapter. Quite dark.
Bioshock: Andrew Ryan's office. No further elaboration needed.
World of Warcraft: All of the introduction cinematics are phenomenal.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: All the introduction cinematics are phenomenal.
Pokemon Black and White: The siege of the Pokemon League.
Starcraft 2: "All In" on the hardest difficulty, this mission is quite hectic. I uttered "holy crap" at least a dozen times in response to how insane it is.
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Final battle with Bowser in the center of a black hole. I purposefully delayed the fight to listen to the music. Simply epic.
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess: When Midna first used the Fused Shadows. Quite unexpected.

I just beat the game today. I had always thought that the would you kindly thing was a joke. Then I got to Ryan's office, and I was speechless.

Good ending of Bioshock 2. It was going along all normal-like, la-di-da-di-da, beat the game, beat the big boss, got out--HOLY FUCK WHY IS SHE HARVESTING ME :'( STOOOOOOOP :'(

Because you died,she didn't want your soul to go to waste.

I just couldn't accept the possibility that after everything I'd been through, I couldn't have possibly just then decided to die

You died at the end with the epic destruction of Rapture,you didn't survive,she took your soul so you could help her live in the real world

Turns out Scott Shelby, one of the MAIN CHARACTERS, is the killer and all you, the player, have been doing was collecting the evidence implicating him. This is right when Madison and Jayden find out about Scott and the climax ensues. Awesome.

in MW2, got sent to last stand by a sniper. using my pistol, dont ask me how, i got a head shot on him from half the map away.

at the end of batman: arkam asylum when batman fights bane-joker, where he finishes joker off by putting that explosive gel on his fist then punching joker in the face. also the final boss in donkey kong country where i beat the dude, get satisfaction from his defeat while watching the end credits, then shock when he gets back up as im just about to turn the game off, and finally anger from turning it off right when he gets up.

Well, to be fair, you could know that any decent writer wouldn't have made the killer just some new character you meet at the end. Some people might have been able to tell the killer just by process of elimination. Ironically, that "process" would involve Scott, since he should have been exploring the antiques store while the guy was looking for his records.

Mine was in Eve Online, when a whole group of loosely allied corps that I was a part of caught an enemy carrier in contested territory, far from help, with only a small escort of battleships and cruisers. The call went out for as many battleships as we could muster to take it down.
It was the first time I'd ever seen a carrier up close, and taking part in reducing it to wreckage was amazing.

Seeing the last colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. The first time I laid eyes on that thing, I literally said out loud, "Holy shit! I gotta climb THAT? You gotta be kidding me..."

I hate that asshole. I always feel kind of bad for killing most of the other colossi but this guy, he shoots lightning balls... what a chode!!
